By using Hire My Grandson you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Adults only — eligibility

18+ ONLY — You must be at least 18 years old to use Hire My Grandson. No exceptions. This applies to customers and helpers. Minors must not create an account, book services, or work as helpers. A parent or guardian cannot waive this requirement.

You must provide your own accurate date of birth and accept these terms. Existing users must complete the age-eligibility step before using protected features. A birth date and acknowledgment are declarations, not independent proof of age. Accounts identified as belonging to minors may be suspended.

Our role

Hire My Grandson is a marketplace that connects customers with independent helpers. Helpers are not our employees. Customers choose which helper to accept.

Bookings

  • Customers must list every task before a helper accepts the booking.
  • The minimum offer is $60 total per booking. Customers may offer more.
  • A $5 service fee is added to every booking. The platform keeps 10% of the offer plus the service fee.
  • Customers may decline a proposed helper at no cost and choose another.

Conduct

Treat each other with respect. Harassment, discrimination, theft, or unsafe behavior leads to removal. Use the report and block tools if something goes wrong.

Advertising

Only Hire My Grandson places advertisements on the platform. Users may not post ads or earn money from advertising here.

Payments

Payments are processed through the app once our payment provider is connected. Until then, no card payments are taken in the app.

Liability

Helpers are responsible for their work. Customers are responsible for a safe work environment. In an emergency, call 911.
